A number of emails are required for use on your Ecommerce Store
1. We need to use an email address for the Order Confirmation Emails, this is the email address that the Order Confirmation Email is sent from i.e. orders@ or sales@ or onlineorders@. You may already have this email address set up or you may now need to contact your IT Support team to set this up for you.
Once set up can you confirm to your Implementation Lead what this email address will be.
This email address will need to be verified by AWS (Amazon Web Services), we will trigger this process for you, see below.
Can you also let us know what email accounts should be BCC’ed on the Order Confirmation Emails. We recommend having more than one email address notified when order confirmation emails are triggered, these email addresses may be personal email addresses or something like manager@ . The BCC emails do not need to be verified by AWS
2. We also require a General Website email e.g customerservice@ or enquiries@ for your site, this email address will be the main contact email displayed on the site. This email address will also need to be verified by AWS. We recommend that this email address is separate to the Order Confirmation Emails address.
Once you confirm the 1) Order Confirmation 2) General Website emails, we will trigger the AWS (Amazon Web Services) verification process, this is a very simple process which requires you to check the relevant email account once the process is triggered and verify the email.
