Styla CMS

Styla (https://www.styla.com/) are fully integrated with the AB Commerce platform.  They are an advanced CMS platform that can sit on top of the AB Commerce platform. For example Styla can be used to automate content delivery based on customer profiles and behaviors.

To get started with Styla, Styla will set up your account and provide you with a Client Name.  Send this client name into the Help Desk and they will set up the integration for you.

Once the integration is set up, the following are the options available to you:

• Creating Pages in Styla - if you create pages in Styla, as long as their url starts with "/styla/", AB Commerce will pull down the page from Styla when the user goes into that URL.
• Adding Styla Widgets to your Pages - if you would like to add a Styla widget to your page, you will see it listed among the other AB Commerce widgets for single widget layouts - just add it to the page and enter the "Slot ID" from Styla and click SAVE.
  • NOTE that the preview option does not work and after you click SAVE, you must refresh the page to view the content (click F5 to refresh the page).

Styla Landing Pages Content saved into Cache to improve speed of website

AB Commerce caches the Landing pages content returned from Styla in it's cache to ensure that the website pages download at a high speed, so any changes in Styla may not go live on the website for up to 30 minutes.  You can always clear the cache manually by clicking on Settings - Clear Cache.
