Using Humm as a Payment Option

If you have an account with Humm and want it integrated with your website, you can:

1. Use the Humm widget to display information about how Humm works for your customers
2. Turn on the option to "Pay with Humm" at your checkout
3. Present the website users with text showing the following if the price is above €80:

How to turn on the Humm integration

To turn on Humm, email the Help Desk the following details:

• Account ID
• Refresh Token
• Client ID
• Client Secret
• Merchant Id.  This is needed for the Quote URL - this is the url used to display the Humm "more info" link on the product page.    The quote Url can be found at https://docs.shophumm.com/docs/pricing-widget 

You will need to supply Humm with the following 2 urls (just replace yourdomainname.com with your domain name and then email the 2 urls to their Help Desk):

CANCEL URL: https://www.yourdomainname.com/checkout/review
SUCCESS URL: https://www.yourdomainname.com/checkout/flexifisuccess

There is an issue on occasional humm transactions, whereby the customer completes the humm application on the humm website but does not wait for humm to return the customer to the website to complete the order.  This means that the order stays in abandoned baskets.  Humm can organise that the retailer receives an email from Humm each time a humm application is completed - this can be useful to track if an issue has arisen.

How to use the Humm widget

Once the integration is turned on, you will have a new "Humm Information" widget available for the single widget containers.  Just create an information page on your website and add a single widget container to the page and set it to the "Humm Information" widget container and the info will appear automatically.

Humm will provide a quote widget and information page for you.  You will just need to supply the url of this page on the Humm website which you will get from Humm 

How to turn on the option to "Pay with Humm" in your checkout

To turn this on, just email the Help Desk and they will turn it on for you.  Then test that your checkout displays the following payment option:

Ensure that you place a test transaction and ensure that all is appearing correctly on your Humm admin screens.
