Adding a Shop Irish dynamic category in AB Commerce is a quick way to highlight products which enable your customers to shop local and champion green.
One of the key benefits of setting this page up dynamically is that any new products added to the brands featured on the page will automatically be included on the Shop Irish page without any further action.
Key Steps
- Identify the codes to the Irish Brands you wish to include
- Create the Shop Irish page either at top-level or as a sub-section in your main brands link
- Add the brand category codes to the page to populate with product
Further Actions
- Recommended: Highlight and link to the Shop Irish page from your homepage or sitewide feature
- Optional: Add widget(s) to the Shop Irish page itself to highlight key / exclusive / new brand(s)
Finding the Brand Codes
- When logged into your admin screens, browse to Catalogue > Categories & Navigation
- Select Brands from the support navigation
- Once viewing the brand table in the Code column, make note of the numeric code associated with any of the brands you want to include on your Shop Irish page

This page can be added to in future simply by adding the code(s) for new brands added to the site in the the Category Codes field for the Shop Irish page.
Other Applications
This method will work to highlight any group of brands, and isn't only for a Shop Irish feature. Other ways this could be used would be to highlight Premium Brands - either across a site or within a category, or to feature Eco-Friendly / Sustainable Brands, etc.
