You can enable Manager Approval for a specific account which has sub-accounts.
This means that specific sub-accounts have to submit their orders to a manager to get them approved.
How it works
When the website user is at the end of the checkout, they will be presented with this screen where they can select a manager and then click Submit order now for Approval:
The dropdown list of managers will default to the last manager this person submitted to.
Both the website user and the manager will have an extra menu option in their toolbar called Approval Orders and they will also see the recent orders submitted for approval on their home page as follows:
(the orders at Order Pending have not yet been approved by the manager)
When the manager clicks Details beside an order, they will see the following buttons available above the order details:
If they click Complete Order, they are brought to the View Basket page for the order submitted to them and they just need to go through the checkout to complete the order. All the checkout details will already be filled in so they will just need to click through the screens to the Review Order final screen where they can complete the order. They can change these details or change the items in the basket (update quantities,, remove items, and/or add new items) before completing the order.
The top menu bar will look like the following so that if they are not ready to complete the order, they can click Exit Order Approval and can go back at a future time if they want to complete the order. Any changes they have made to the order are automatically saved with the order in case they come back again to complete the order.
Automated Emails
When the order is submitted to the manager, both the website user and the manager will get an email. The website admin can edit this email by clicking Marketing - Emails and clicking on New Order Email - Submitted for Manager Approval.
The website user and manager will get all automated emails for that order until it's fully processed.
To Enable Manager Approval for a Sub Account
To enable manager approval for a sub-account, simply update that account and click on the Trade tab and check the following checkbox for: Enable Manager Approval
How to set up a manager to approve orders
For Manager Approval to work, you need to also set up managers who can approve an order. To do this, go into the sub-account for the manager and check the following checkbox for Is Manager:
