Reviews.io collects verified customer reviews by automatically emailing shoppers after they place an order. You can display reviews.io widgets on your website. Also google can use Reviews.io as an approved third-party review partner for store ratings.
How it works:
Your website can send order data (order ID, customer email, and optional product SKUs) to Reviews.io. This allows reviews.io to send automated review requests to your customers. To do this a reviews.io email address is bcc'd on the dispatch email. The data for reviews.io is hidden in the email - it is not seen by the customer. Note - there is also an option to integrate reviews.io review collection through Klaviyo (instead of the website) .
Your website can also provide a customised product feed which sends product data such as a product title, a product image and URL to reviews.io. This is used where you wish to collect product reviews.
-
After a configurable delay (e.g. 7 days), Reviews.io emails the customer asking for reviews. You set up a template for the "Request a Review" email. This may be a request for:
a store review, and/or
product reviews.
Customers submit reviews via Review.io’s hosted form.
-
Approved reviews can be:
Displayed on your website via widgets
Used for social proof (stars, testimonials)
Optionally syndicated to Google Seller Ratings, Google Shopping, Facebook, etc.
Adding reviews.io widgets to your website
There is an extensive library of widget on the reviews.io website. This widgets can be customised by a retailer for example you can change elements of the widgets to include the colours of your logo. Once you are happy with the widget you give the code for each widget to Magico and we will display then on the website.
We suggest that you include a number of widgets at key places on the website, for example the footer, the basket page, the header, the product page.
You could also add a reviews page for example in the footer. A page devoted to reviews gives you more space to highlight reviews.
The Ratings Bar Widget
This slim widget would work well in the footer or in a feature on reviews in the accordion area on the product page. feature highlighting .
The Badge Widget
The badge widget would work well on the Basket page - to the right of the basket.
The Trusted Store Widget
There are a number of variations of this widget.
The Compound Review Widget
This may be a good option for detailing reviews on a reviews page
