If you would like your customers to be able to select a date to collect their order during the checkout, just email the Help Desk and supply the following with your request:
- Is there a cut-off time that the customer must order before to be able to collect today (or tomorrow)- e.g. "Order before 3:00pm to be able to collect tomorrow"
- Are there certain days of the week (e.g. Sundays) that they are not allowed to select for collection?
- Do you want to have a different title to "Your Preferred Collection Date" in the checkout?
- Do you want to enter a description to appear under this field in the checkout?
To view the COLLECTION DATE entered by the customer, click UPDATE ORDER when logged in as web admin and the date will appear under "Ready for Collection Date" under the DETAILS tab. You can change this date under the POST SALE tab.
Setting Lead Time for certain Products
If you set a lead time in days for In Stock - Lead Time or Out of Stock - Lead Time, the earliest collection date available will be pushed out by this lead time.
