When you have previewed all the files and the INBOX is filling up with files ready to process, contact us to put your batch job live.
When we turn on the batch job, within 15 minutes, all files in the INBOX folder will be processed.
You will then see under the VIEW FTP SITE page that all the files are being moved out of the INBOX folder and into either the PROCESSED folder or the SKIPPED folder.
And then, at regular intervals, you will see new files appearing in the INBOX and then being processed too.
Viewing the Status of your Batch jobs
You can now go into the YOUR BATCH JOBS page and view the status of each batch job. You will see that each of the batch jobs has a LAST RUN DATE showing when the batch job last ran and a NEXT RUN DATE showing when the batch job is due to run next.
You will see that there are 2 lines in the table that are showing information on recent activity – the IMPORT PRODUCTS line and the IMPORT PRODUCT CATEGORY RELATIONSHIPS line. And similarly for any other files you have included.
The following are the descriptions of each of the fields you see:

Test the batch jobs
You can now test the batch jobs by doing the following tests:
- First, check that all the products now appear in the correct categories on the website.
- Then, make a change to the products by enabling some more products, editing some already active products, and deactivating some products – all changes should automatically go through to the website within 1 hour.
NOTE: The website caches it’s product data for 30 minutes so while your changes may come through to the website, it may take another 30 minutes before you can see them on the website.
- And similarly, make changes to the product category relationships and see if they come through to the website within 1 hour.
Your integration is now complete
Congratulations, you have completed an end-to-end integration between your ERP/ePos and your website.
