Product Content is the cornerstone to a successful website, Product Content is not just a great selling tool but a rich source of SEO which will help boost your organic rankings.
There are two elements to your Product Content 1) Product Descriptions 2) Product Images.

Product descriptions are a great selling tool and also a rich source of SEO. When developing product descriptions keep in mind your keywords.
The AB Commerce platform gives you the opportunity to add the following descriptions
This descriptions appears just above the Add to Basket so very important for mobile shoppers. Use the short description to give a quick summary of the product and emphasis the selling point
Maximum number of characters is 250
Additional Description Fields
There is the option to add up to four Additional Description fields, suggestions for how to use these fields include:

Maximum number of characters is 2500
Note that although you might decide to use all four description fields, the description titles will only appear if you have added content to that specific field.
Your Implementation Lead will discuss your options in more detail with you.
Delivery is a Site Wide Field so content only has to be added/edited once to appear on every product.
The Implementation Team will work with you to add the Delivery Content
Returns is a Site Wide Field so content only has to be added/edited once to appear on every product.
The Implementation Team will work with you to add the Returns Content
Long Description Field
The long description field appears below the imagery and is ideal if you need to display long technical or instructional content. Your Implementation team will discuss this option with you
If you decide to source your own imagery, there are two options for uploading this imagery, you might want to bulk upload imagery for products you wish to initially put online or moving forward you might choose to use the on-page image uploader to upload product images product by-product when adding the product descriptions.
