⚠️COMING SOON - NOT YET RELEASED
There are three separate sections in the AB Commerce admin available to make changes to product information in bulk. These screens allows administrators to quickly update multiple products at once from a single grid interface. This tool is designed for fast catalogue maintenance across many products simultaneously.
Each tool has a separate dedicated article which you can view by clicking on the links below.
Three Bulk Edit Tools in AB Commerce
-
Bulk Edit Products - allows you to bulk edit product level information where appropriate including primary category, brand category, status, price, stock, shipping band, and more. These are fields where a product can only have a single value for each product.
-
Bulk Edit Attributes - allows you to edit product level information where there may be multiple values for each product. This includes assigning filter values, inclusion in product/promotion groups, and more.
-
Bulk Edit Versions - allows you to edit version level information where appropriate, including version attributes (e.g. size, colour, etc.) as well as pricing and stock.
Please note: If a field is being populated by an itegration with your EPOS/ERP platform, then the field will appear as a read-only value for information purposes in these screens. For example, if your pricing is coming from outside AB Commerce then you will be able to view but not edit in these bulk screens.
Offline Tools
These online bulk editing capabilities are useful for a broad range of product management. However, depending on your specific set up - integration, product details, etc. - there may be additional or alternative bulk product management options available via spreadsheets and bulk uploads.
