Note for clients with Systems Integration
Clients with Systems Integrations will add products to their Online Store via their ePos/ERP hence this article does not apply.
For clients without Systems Integration follow the steps below to add products manually to your Online Store
How to Manually Add a New Product
1. Log in as Website Admin
2. Select Catalogue – Products
3. Select +Add New Product (note if your Product has versions see notes below)
4. Complete the STEPS 1 to 5 in the Wizard items denoted by * are mandatory and note that you do not have to complete every field, the important ones are described below

Product Title* |
Provide a user friendly product title that will describe your product to your website audience. |
Product Code* |
This code must be unique to this product. Product codes are often used for reference purposes |
Check to make product active and appear on website |
To ensure the product is available on your website , tick the check box. If you do not want the product to appear yet on your website leave unchecked |
Is New From Date |
Add Is New From Date to display this product in the New In Dynamic Category |
Is New Until Date
|
Add Is New Until Date to determine when the product should no longer appear on the website |
Rating |
If you want to dictate the order your products appear insert a Sort Order, 0 to 1,000,000 . Highest number will appear first. |

Regular Price |
Enter Price as Euro |
Trade Pricing |
Enter Trade Pricing (if required) as Euro |
Promotion Price |
Enter a Promotional Price, the Online Store will display a WAS and NOW discounted price |
Promotion Price Discount % |
Enter a % Price Discount, the Online Store will display the WAS and the NOW discounted price based on the % discount |
Promotion Text |
Enter Promotional Text to appear under the Price e.g. Limited Time Only |
Trade Promotions |
Enter Trade Promotion Price (if required) |

Step 3 - Products Category |

Primary Category |
Assign the product to the most relevant Category |
Primary Sort Order |
If you want to dictate the order your product appears within the Product Category assign a rating 0 to 1,000,000 . Highest number will appear first. |
Brand Category |
Assign the product to a Brand Category |
Brand Sort Order |
If you want to dictate the order your product appears within the Brand Category assign a rating 0 to 1,000,000 . Highest number will appear first. |

Step 4 - Manage Stock |
This is Optional so you can choose to manage stock or ignore this step and proceed to Step 5 |

Step 5 - SEO |
This is optional as abcommerce will automatically create a Page Title based on a SEO friendly algorithm. For more information about SEO |

Adding Product with Versions
Follow the steps outlined above but ensure the Product Code has a P- at the start in order to create the Parent Product and only apply prices to the 'child' level of the product. For more information on creating Product with Versions please discuss with your account manager
