Your website is integrated with Three Software's retail product - R3 (Retail – Three IT Services) which means that you can publish products to your website, send stock updates from your epos to your website and also download web orders from your website into Three Retail.
Product integration
Products can be ENABLED FOR WEB on the epos which means that they are sent to the website. To enable a product for web, click the button for ONLINE to highlight it in green.
Both standalone products and products with versions (eg a piece of clothing with different sizes) can be sent. For products with versions the epos will send up a "Parent Product" and then each version (eg size). The LookUpCodes (LookUp1Code and LookUp2Code) give detail on the versions.
These look up codes need to be set up on the website in CATALOGUE - CATEGORIES & NAVIGATION under VERSION TABLES. Each type of Version Lookup is set up in Version table eg (Size, Waist, Leg Length, Collar Size) and the values coming from the epos are created in Version Table - for example the LookUp1Codes in the above example are Sizes so these are created in the "Size" Version table.
- Value - is the text to appear on the Version Button on the product page
- Sort Order - the order that the Version buttons appear in on the product page
- Filter option - the filter that it maps to on the left hand side of the product list pages
- External Code - the code coming up from the epos
The epos can send up to two lookups eg for trousers you may wish to send Waist and Leg Length so that the customer can choose these on the product page.
The main price of the product also comes up. Discounts can be added using the promotions module on the website.
Stock updates
Stock updates are sent from the epos to the website a number of times a day. Each time the epos will send a full stock file which contains all the stock enabled for web.
Assigning brands
Brands can be assigned on the EPOS and sent to the website. Each brand that is coming up from the epos must be set up on the website in CATALOGUE - CATEGORIES & NAVIGATION - BRANDS. The ExternalCode for the Brand on the website must be the code for that brand that comes from the epos.
If a new brand comes up from the epos system that is not on the website then the integration will flag this to you. You will see this as an error on your dashboard and in your integration screens (ANALYTICS - YOUR BATCH JOBS). An email will also be sent.
Related products
Related products can be sent from the epos to the website eg the same product in another colour can be sent up as a related product.
The related product will appear as an image underneath the ADD TO BASKET button so you should ensure that only related products which have a visible difference are used.
Order download
Orders are downloaded automatically from the website into the epos system
