Your website is integrated with Xline which means that your pricing, and stock levels are automatically synced.
The following User Manual describes how to manage the products on your website using Xline.
Matching Xline Products with your Web Products
When you are setting up products on AB Commerce, it's important you use the correct product code that matches the code in Xline. If you do this, then the price and stock levels can automatically sync.
What product fields are web integrated
The following product fields can be integrated with the website:
- Price - prices are synced once every 2 hours
- Prices can be inclusive of TAX/VAT or exclusive depending on how you want the website to be configured.
- Promotion Prices are included so that the website can show a WAS-NOW price - the website looks at promotion prices that have a trigger quantity of 1
- Tiered Pricing is included so that if there are any prices in the SOFFERS file with a TRIGGER QTY of 2 or more, they will be set up as TIERED PRICING-

- Note that we will validate that each price for each quantity is lower than the previous quantity – and if not, then we don’t set the tiered pricing at all (e.g. if you have set up tiered pricing for the same product twice by mistake, the product will be ignore for tiered pricing)
- Stock Levels
- TaxCode - the VAT code for the product. These tax codes can be set up on the website as tax bands.
The "Prevent this item from being uploaded to the web" checkbox on the EPOS is tied to the "Active" checkbox on the product on the website Never update the Active flag on the website - always use the "Prevent this item from being uploaded to the web" checkbox on the EPOS to make product active or inactive on the website. Once you make the update on Xline it will come up in the next set of files from the EPOS.
Intact do not use the standard files for AB Commerce/Magico integration. The "Initialise Routines" batch job take the the Intact specific files and converts them to the standard integration files.
How to add a new product to the website
- Since the product title does not come up from Intact you will need to create the product on the website in CATALOGUE - PRODUCTS. Click the ADD NEW PRODUCT link and create a product with the PRODUCT CODE and the TITLE. Any fields coming up from the EPOS system should be left blank/empty.
- In Intact there is a "Prevent this item from being uploaded to the web" checkbox for each product.
- Ensure that this checkbox is unchecked for the product to go up to the website. If this checkbox is unchecked then the Active flag on the website will be checked.
- If you check this checkbox on a product that was previously on the website then the product will be made inactive on the website.
Automated Stock Control
All stock changes are automatically synced with the website - including any in-store stock changes.
Note that web stock changes are reflected immediately as web orders are made on the site - and the instore changes come through every 2 hours.
Outlet Stock Integration - Click & Collect
Xline have an advanced integration whereby the user can check stock availability in different outlets from the website.
To facilitate this functionality Xline send the website a stock file for each outlet.

Note that currently Intact send additional products which are not in the website in the outlet stock file. It is planned that in the future Intact will only send outlet stock for products on the website. In the meantime please ignore the "INVALIDPRCODE" errors in the integration.
