Your website is integrated with Meridian which means that you can publish products to your website, manage these products via Meridian and also download web orders from your website to Meridian.
The following User Manual describes how to manage the products on your website using Meridian.
How to Web Enable a Product
To web enable a product, check Enable for Web and the product will export to the website within 15 minutes.
If you wish to remove a product from the website uncheck Enable for Web. This will make the product inactive on the website. It is best not to delete products from the website as it can cause issues with the integration.
What product fields are web integrated
The following product fields are integrated with the website:
- Title
- Price
- Promotion Price (for showing a WAS-NOW price)
- Trade Price (for allowing trade customers to purchase using different trade prices)
- Tax Code (for trade customers who want to see prices ex VAT)
Automated Stock Control
All stock changes are automatically synced with the website every 15 minutes - including any in-store stock changes. A full stock file is sent at approx 3:00 am each morning in case any product quantities accidentally go out of sync.
The following settings are available for each product:
- Allow Sell Out of Stock - when this is checked, this disables stock control for the product - e.g. gift vouchers
Outlet Stock Integration - Click & Collect
Meridian have an advanced integration whereby the user can check stock availability in different outlets from the website. And when the customer selects to collect their order, the order is downloaded directly into the shop.
If you are interested in finding out more about this advanced solution, contact the Help Desk.
Automated Web Orders Download
Every 15 minutes, the latest web orders are downloaded into the ERP.
This module also offers full integration with the Meridian Gift Voucher Module
Allowing customers to purchase gift vouchers online that can be redeemed both instore and online.
Integration is in real time so that the voucher cannot be redeemed instore and online at the same time – reducing the retailers vulnerability around duplicate redemption.
Customers can redeem multiple Gift Vouchers against an online purchase
Customers can also use a remaining gift voucher balance and credit card to make payment for a product
